The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” — Isaiah 9:7 (KJV) Reflection This prophetic declaration from Isaiah is one of the clearest proofs of the divinity of Jesus Christ. The prophet begins with a sign: “Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.” Yet this child is no ordinary child, for the names attributed to Him reveal His divine nature. He is called: - Wonderful Counsellor - The Mighty God - The Everlasting Father - The Prince of Peace No mere human could bear such eternal titles. These names affirm that Jesus is not just a man, but God Himself manifested in the flesh. His government and peace are without end, and His kingdom is established forever in righteousness and justice. Hallelujah! Prayer Father, thank You for the revelation of Jesus as God.
