DAY 6 — “The Darkness Did Not Win”
Scripture:
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
— John 1:5b

Darkness always looks powerful —
until light arrives.
It feels endless,
until it is interrupted.
Christmas is not the story of light struggling to survive.
It is the story of light advancing.
The darkness did not slow Jesus down.
It did not dilute His purpose.
It did not silence heaven.
It could not.
From a stable to a cross,
from rejection to resurrection,
darkness threw everything it had —
and failed.
This matters because darkness still tries the same strategy today:
intimidate, exhaust, convince you that night is permanent.
It isn’t.
The light that entered the night still shines.
And darkness has never learned how to win.

Name the darkness you’ve been bracing against.
Then speak this truth over it:
It does not get the final word.

Lord,
I stop negotiating with the darkness.
I stand in Your light.
What You began in the night,
You will finish in victory.
Amen.
