There is a day coming when human strength, wealth, intelligence, and religion will not matter.
The question Scripture forces us to face is simple — who will be able to stand?
The Bible does not hide the reality of God’s wrath. It is not symbolic, and it is not exaggerated. When that day comes, the earth itself will shake, and the confidence of the world will collapse.
“For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
— Revelation 6:17 (KJV)
Yet Revelation also shows something remarkable — a great multitude standing before God, clothed in white, having come out of great tribulation, not because of their strength, but because of redemption.
“These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
— Revelation 7:14 (KJV)
Scripture is clear: God’s wrath is real, but so is His mercy.
And the Bible also makes this distinction unmistakable — those who are saved are not appointed to wrath.
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV)
This is why the urgency matters now, not later.
Delay is dangerous. Neutrality is an illusion. Every soul will either stand in Christ or fall without Him.
“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.”
— Isaiah 55:6 (KJV)
THE GOSPEL — FOR THE LOST
Salvation is not earned.
It is not maintained by works.
It is not secured by fear.
It is secured by believing in what Jesus Christ has already done.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel…
How that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:1–4 (KJV)
When you get saved, it is because you trusted Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross — His death, burial, and resurrection — alone.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life.”
— John 3:36 (KJV)
Everlasting means exactly what it says.
And only those who are in Christ will stand when judgment falls.
Time is still here.
Grace is still offered.
Truth is still calling.
