Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

Yesterday was an exciting day. The fourth book in my Chasm series, Unconditional Love, was sent to the publisher. Completing that book accomplished two things for me. One, … well, maybe more than two. Squirrel … sorry.

One, it was the second book that I wrote and published within a year. I have never done that. The motivation to do such a thing was the challenges that I joined. To write a novel in 90 days. That is extremely frightening. The first book, over the summer challenge, was considered a novella…less than 50k words, which is most of my writings. However, the fall/winter challenge was a novel (more than 50k words) … mine landed at 63,591.

Second, is that I did them during a very busy time of my life. They were the distraction to keep me focused on more important items in life. Taking care of my husband, preparing for retirement, taking care of my mom, and then … of course, most importantly, staying in tune with Him.

Third, learning that there are many tools out there to help you in accomplishing what He has put before you. You need only be willing to seek, ask, and accept. I could not have done these two books in a year with the assistance of several good friends and family members. One of which is my husband. Though not a reader, he is a great supporter and enjoys watching me argue with my printer. Haha. He helped me choose the cover design for this last book.

2025 is coming to a close. What blessings were you gifted? What blessings were you a part of? What blessings could you have had if you would have just looked, asked, and accepted? (Personally, I am too scared to think of the last question. Just saying.)

Today, take a moment and give thanks for your blessing from above and look deep in your heart for areas where you can be a blessing moving forward. For when we bless without desire of return, we are blessed abundantly.

Be blessed today my friends.

***May the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion. – Psalms 134:3
