Some have taken the biblical command to love our neighbors and pray for those who persecute us and twisted it into a weapon against Christians. Yet we trust that our defense does not come from human strength but from God alone. When we are attacked for our faith, we stand on the truth that the Lord Himself fights for His people.

Lord, we ask You to defend Christians around the world who are suffering violence, persecution, and death because of their faith in You. Protect the innocent whose lives are being destroyed by extremists and terrorists. Comfort the families of those who have been killed, and expose and stop every plan of evil against Your church.

As this year comes to an end, we pray for President Donald Trump and all leaders You have positioned to speak up for persecuted Christians worldwide. Grant them wisdom, courage, and protection as they confront violence and defend the oppressed. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for rising up as our defender and shield.
