THE ADVENT TRUTH
Most people don’t realize that the Sabbath vs. Sunday issue isn’t just about a day—it’s about authority. God wrote the 7th-day Sabbath with His own finger (Exodus 31:18), blessed it at creation (Genesis 2:2–3), placed it in the heart of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:8–11), and declared it a perpetual sign between Him and His people (Ezekiel 20:12, 20). No prophet, no apostle, not even Jesus ever changed it. The only power in history that claims it changed the Sabbath is the Papal system itself.
Catholic sources openly admit:
“Sunday is our mark of authority… The Church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that.” – Catholic Record, Sept. 1, 1923
That is exactly what Daniel 7:25 warned: “He shall think to change times and laws.”
Which law deals with time? Only the 4th commandment.
Paul said the “man of sin” would exalt himself “above all that is called God” (2 Thess. 2:3–4). Revelation 13 says all the world would eventually follow this power. And in the final crisis, it won’t just be a debate about a day—it will be a test of loyalty: the commandments of God vs. the traditions of men (Revelation 14:12; Mark 7:7–9).
Jesus didn’t move the Sabbath to Sunday. The apostles didn’t. The Bible didn’t. Rome did—and then admitted it.
So the real question isn’t “What day do most Christians keep?”
The question is: Who has the right to change what God made holy?
The end-time issue is worship. The Sabbath isn’t just about rest—it’s about allegiance. The Creator says, “Remember.” Tradition says, “Forget.” One is sealed by God, the other is enforced by man.
Truth is not decided by majority vote. It stands whether the world accepts it or not.
