LIVING FROM ABOVE
Embracing the Resurrected Life in Christ

Scripture Focus:
Romans 10:6-7 (KJV) – “But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)”

Devotion:
There is a life that flows from Christ’s resurrection—the ascended life. This is not merely a doctrine, but a living reality offered to everyone who believes. It is the very life of God, perfect and untainted, inherited when we come to Jesus.

This life is spiritual, lifting you into a heavenly realm of existence. It places you above sickness, above failure, and above the limitations of this world. It is why the believer shines even in darkness, and why hope springs eternal within the born-again spirit. Each time you pray in the Spirit, this divine life rises like a wellspring of joy, connecting you intimately with the God who lives within you.

Rejoice, child of God! As the Father has life in Himself, so He has given that same life to you in Christ.

Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for Your resurrected life alive in me. Because You live, I live also. I rejoice in the union we share and walk today in the victory of Your ascended life. Amen.

Further Reading:
John 3:1-6; John 17:1-17 (AMP)

Wisdom for Today:
Proverbs 20:4 (MSG) – “A farmer too lazy to plant in the spring has nothing to harvest in the fall.”
