FREEDOM FROM SPIRITUAL WEIGHTS Claiming Victory in the Name of Jesus Scripture Focus: Proverbs 20:23 (KJV) – “Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good.” Devotion: The “diverse weights” described in Proverbs refer to uneven stones—symbolic of hidden burdens, imbalances, and oppressive loads. Spiritually, these represent the invisible weights the enemy places upon lives: chronic sickness, persistent depression, unexplained pain, recurring failure, or sudden loss. These are not merely physical or emotional issues; they are spiritual attacks designed to drag you down and distort the balance of God’s blessing in your life. Many people endure such burdens without recognizing their source, seeking only natural solutions for spiritual problems. But God has equipped you with spiritual authority. When you wake under a cloud of heaviness or face cycles of defeat, remember: you are not helpless. The name of Jesus is not a decorative phrase—it is a weapon for spiritual warfare, a key to unlock chains, and a declaration of victory over every oppressive force. You do not have to carry what God has not given you. Today, identify any weight that does not belong to you—any affliction, fear, or pattern of loss—and deliberately, audibly, reject it in the mighty name of Jesus. Prayer: In the name of Jesus, I declare my freedom from every spiritual weight. I rebuke every burden of sickness, depression, lack, and failure. I cancel the enemy’s assignment over my life and I stand firm in the liberty Christ has given me. Amen.
