DAY 5 — SAMSON
“He Did Not Know”
Scripture: Judges 16:20
Samson didn’t wake up weak.
He woke up unaware.
“He did not know that the Lord had left him.”
That sentence should unsettle us.
Samson had strength.
He had history.
He had victories to point to.
What he no longer had was attention to God’s presence.
His downfall wasn’t Delilah.
It was familiarity.
He assumed yesterday’s power would carry today’s disobedience.
Modern mirror moment:
We rely on gifting, experience, and past encounters
while neglecting present surrender.
We move.
We speak.
We act.
And we don’t check if God is still with us.
Lord, don’t let me mistake momentum for anointing.
If I’ve grown careless with Your presence, wake me up.
I never want to move without You.
