I replied to a critical public comment on facebook to the ministry of a well-known and revered Christian leader and having been guilty myself on long-past occasions ( at least in my heart ) of 'casting stones' , I share a little here..
"Any Born-again Christian should be pursuing God wholeheartedly and consistently examining their own heart on a daily basis . We are not called to examine and decry what we perceive to be the shortcomings and sins in the lives of others. The Lord ALONE knows the hearts of men. Let's just get on with the Great Commission; keeping our own relationship with our Lord sweet and untainted. I speak humbly from over 60 years of some ups and downs in my own relationship with the Lord. Sometimes in leadership but not in the past few decades, as I approach a natural time of being called into His Eternal Presence.
I'm aiming to just follow the Shepherd and to do so, I need to keep my eyes on Him .
