The awakening came unexpectedly during a small church prayer group. We were discussing Matthew 7:21, which cautions, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven." One member spoke passionately about pursuing her calling as a missionary, despite the skepticism of others. Her boldness sparked something within me. I realized that her story mirrored my own struggles, and she was actively living out her faith in ways that I had only dreamed of.
I took a leap of faith, asking God to illuminate my path and provide me with clarity. In doing so, I began to tune into the whispers of the Holy Spirits inner voice, which urged me to step into a new role as a mentor for young people in my community. Initially frightened by this call, I chose to trust God and set aside doubts fueled by external opinions.
