Good morning God

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a grateful and surrendered heart, thanking You for Your holy Word that teaches me the way of life. Today I reflect on Philippians 2:5, where You call me to have the same mind that was in Christ Jesus. Father, I thank You for Jesus—who, though He was in very nature God, did not consider equality with You something to be grasped, but humbled Himself for my sake (Philippians 2:6–7).

Lord Jesus, You chose the path of humility. You became a servant, walking among the broken, the poor, and the forgotten. You humbled Yourself in obedience even to death on the cross (Philippians 2:8). I stand in awe of Your love. As it is written, “Learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart” (Matthew 11:29). Teach me, Lord, to walk as You walked.

Father, remove all pride, selfish ambition, and desire for recognition from my heart. Help me to do nothing out of selfishness, but to value others above myself (Philippians 2:3–4). Let the humility of Christ shine through me, so that people may see Your love, not my ego (John 3:30).

Fill me with compassion for the needy, kindness toward the weak, patience with others, and love that reflects Your heart (Colossians 3:12). Help me remember that even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45). Make me a vessel of Your grace, ready to wash feet, carry burdens, and speak words of life.

Holy Spirit, shape my mind to be like Christ’s mind. Let my life glorify Jesus alone, for whoever humbles himself will be exalted by You (James 4:10). I surrender myself to Your will.

In the precious and humble name of Jesus Christ I pray,
Amen.
