DAY 6 — MARTHA
“Distracted by Many Things”
Scripture: Luke 10:41–42
Martha loved Jesus.
That was never the problem.
She opened her home.
She served generously.
She carried the weight of responsibility.
But while her hands were full,
her heart was scattered.
Jesus didn’t shame her service.
He named her condition.
“You are worried and distracted by many things.”
Not sin.
Not rebellion.
Distraction.
Martha was doing good work
while missing a sacred moment.
Modern mirror moment:
We stay busy for God
to avoid being still with God.
We confuse movement with faithfulness
and exhaustion with obedience.
Jesus, quiet me without sidelining me.
Teach me to serve from stillness, not striving.
I choose presence over pressure.
