There is a King that Reigns Forever!

The vision God gave to Daniel shows that history follows God’s plan. Like all prophecies, it explains how events will unfold over time. In the vision, the ram with two horns and the goat represent powerful kingdoms and rulers that rise and fall. These changes show the ongoing struggle between good and evil in the world.

In Daniel 8:20–25, God explains the meaning clearly. The ram stands for the kings of Media and Persia. The goat represents the Greek empire led by Alexander the Great. The small but dangerous horn represents a cruel and deceptive ruler who will oppose God’s people and fight against God’s purposes.

This vision teaches that world events are not happening by chance. God is in control, even when there is confusion, war, or suffering. These conflicts will not last forever. God has promised to establish His eternal kingdom, where righteousness will rule forever (Daniel 7:14; Revelation 11:15).

For us today, this is a call to remain strong in faith. Spiritual battles still exist, but Jesus has greater power than any earthly ruler or kingdom. Stay committed to prayer, seek God’s guidance, and remain faithful to Christ. In the end, victory belongs to God’s people, and His kingdom of justice and peace will last forever.
