🌿 Daily Devotion 📅 Date: January 4, 2026 📖 Theme: Nothing Begins Without Him 🔖 Series: God the Beginning 📜 Scripture: “All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.” — John 1:3 (NKJV) 💭 Reflection This verse removes every doubt about origins and control. Nothing exists by accident. Nothing appeared on its own. Everything that was ever made passed through Christ. “All things” means exactly that — your life, your purpose, your gifts, your future, and even the season you are in right now. If it exists, He had a hand in it. And if He was involved in making it, then it carries intention and value. The second part of the verse is very direct: without Him nothing was made. This means separation from Christ leads to emptiness, confusion, and broken beginnings. When God is removed from the start, things may move, but they will not be sustained. This is prophetic for anyone feeling lost or uncertain. If Jesus is the One who made all things, then He is also the One who knows how your life should work. He understands your design better than you do. When God is not the beginning, struggle becomes normal. But when God is the beginning, direction becomes clear. 🛠 Practical Application Today, reconnect your beginnings to Christ. Invite Jesus into decisions you already started without Him. Stop blaming yourself for confusion — return to the Source. Trust that the One who made you knows how to lead you. Nothing that starts with Him will lack purpose. 🙏 Prayer Lord Jesus, I acknowledge You as the Source of all things. I return every area of my life back to You. Where I started wrongly, help me restart with You. Where I feel confused, remind me that You made me with purpose. Be the beginning of my thoughts, my plans, and my steps.
