Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

Most everyone knows that I am retiring this year. It is my time. Everyone is happy for me, but not so much in the same breath, because things will change. For me, it is like a marker that I did what I was supposed to do … the best that I could.

One of my fellow employees bought me a couple of t-shirts to celebrate with. One of them has the logo of Retirement 2026, the other one says that I am a quitter. I laughed so hard at that one.

In normal standards, I am far from a quitter. I don’t give up. I process until I find a solution. I push through difficult times. I might be a mess or a jungle of emotions, but I don’t quit. That simple play on words was quite refreshing.

Now, knowing me and that my mind is never where anyone else’s is, I would like to inform you that I am a quitter. I have quit many things. Stepping aside from the joyful play with the t-shirt and its meaning, can we refocus to a different dance floor?

I am a quitter of sin. I am a quitter of doubt. I am a quitter of quitting.

This year, especially, I am making it my sole mission to be a quitter. I know, like most quitters, I am going to mess up and accomplish the very thing I am quitting, but I am not going to let it sideline me in the game of quitting.

Because when you become a quitter FOR God, you become a WINNER in Him. Think about it. Think about being a quitter for Him so that you can be in the winner’s circle with Him.

Be blessed.

**Then the angel said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb! And he added, “These are the true words of God.” –Revelation 19:9
