THE ADVENT TRUTH
Christian Nationalism isn’t Christianity — it’s idolatry dressed in a Bible verse.
But here’s the part most people miss: the problem isn’t just right-wing nationalism. The problem is any attempt to merge Christ’s kingdom with earthly power.
Jesus didn’t come to fix Rome. He didn’t tell His followers to seize political office. He didn’t hand Peter a sword and say “take back the empire.” He said, “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36). That means it’s not secured by votes, guns, flags, or legislation — only by the gospel.
Every time the church unites with the state, persecution follows.
That’s not an opinion — that’s history, prophecy, and Scripture.
Revelation 13 shows a church + state union that forces worship.
Revelation 17 shows a woman (church) riding the beast (state).
Daniel 3, Daniel 6, and Acts 5 all show the same pattern: when religion gains civil power, the faithful are thrown into furnaces, lion’s dens, and prison cells.
The cross doesn’t need a flag. The gospel doesn’t need a nation.
Jesus didn’t die to (make America Great Again)
He died to make sinners new.
The mission of the church is not to “Christianize” the government but to call people OUT of every nation, kindred, tongue, and people (Revelation 14:6). That’s not nationalism — that’s the everlasting gospel.
So yes — stop confusing Caesar with Christ.
Stop baptizing political power and calling it revival.
Stop trading the fruit of the Spirit for the spirit of the age.
The Lamb doesn’t share His throne with elephants or donkeys.
He doesn’t need the Supreme Court, the White House, or Congress to finish His work.
The only government that lasts forever is “the kingdom which shall never be destroyed” (Daniel 2:44).
Let the church be the church.
Let the state be the state.
And let Jesus be King, not mascot for a political agenda.
Understand!
