THE LOVE OF MONEY AND THE LAST EMPIRE.
How Economic Control Drives End-Time Prophecy

“For the love of money is the root of all evil…” 1 Timothy 6:10

Scripture does not teach that money itself is evil, but that the love of money, the craving for control, security, dominance, and power through money, is a root system from which great evils grow. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible repeatedly reveals that economic control precedes political oppression and religious coercion. This pattern reaches its fullest manifestation in the final crisis of earth’s history.

The end-time evils foretold in prophecy are not isolated moral issues; they are systemic, economic, global, and revolve around money/economic control.

When the Medes and Persians, which mirrors the end-time Babylon alliance, conquered ancient Babylon, their first concern was not worship, law, or culture, but revenue protection. [Daniel 6:1–2] “It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes… that the princes might give ACCOUNTS unto them, and the king should have no DAMAGE.”

The phrase “no damage” means no financial loss. Before worship was regulated, before Daniel was targeted, the empire secured its economic system.
Only after economic control was ensured did the state move to regulate worship:
[Daniel 6:5] “We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the LAW of his God.”

This order, economics first, worship second, is prophetic. It reveals how empires function and how the final world system will operate.

Revelation exposes a power that intoxicates nations through commerce:
[Revelation 18:3] “…the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.”

Revelation 18 is not merely religious, it is also economic prophecy. When Babylon falls, merchants do not mourn lost theology, but lost profit: [Revelation 18:11] “And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more.”

The Scriptures reveals, end-time obedience is enforced economically: [Revelation 13:16–17] “…that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark…”
Thus, prophecy reveals a final system where economic access becomes the instrument of worship enforcement.

After World War II, the United States emerged as the dominant global power. In 1944, the Bretton Woods Agreement established the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency, backed by gold.
For a time, America prospered. But by the late 1960s, massive government spending, especially through prolonged foreign wars, placed unbearable strain on the system.

The Vietnam War was not merely a military conflict, it was an economic snare that America was deceived into by a hidden hand that acted secretly; the Jesuit. Communist anti-Catholic Vietnam, was primarily an enemy of the Papacy, with their strong anti-communist stance.
History shows Jesuit advisers repeatedly positioning themselves close to seats of power, shaping decisions that ultimately serve papal interests.

Sustained through deficit spending and relentless money creation, the war drained America’s treasury without producing real economic value. During the Nixon era, the United States printed enormous quantities of dollars to finance the war, welfare, and global commitments simultaneously. This period marks a deliberate overextension of American economic power, weakening the nation’s monetary foundation.

By the early 1970s, foreign nations recognized the truth: the United States could no longer redeem dollars for gold. America was effectively bankrupted.

On August 15, 1971, President Richard Nixon officially severed the dollar from gold. This act did not restore strength, it exposed weakness. The dollar became a fiat currency, sustained only by confidence and coercion.

From that moment:
- Money lost intrinsic value
- Debt replaced productivity
- Inflation became permanent
- America did not fix the problem, it postponed collapse.

To prevent the dollar from collapsing, a new system was created: the petrodollar.
Through negotiations led by Henry Kissinger, Saudi Arabia agreed to sell oil only in U.S. dollars in exchange for military protection. OPEC followed. The result was artificial global demand for the dollar.

This system allowed America to:
- Export inflation worldwide (excess dollars)
- Maintain global dominance despite debt
- Fund endless wars
But prophecy teaches that counterfeit foundations cannot endure forever.

Many nations, like the BRICS, began to realize how the petrodollar schemed them out of economic benefits while strengthening America. Some oil producing countries began to move away from dollar sales. But every leader who challenged dollar-based energy trade was removed:
- Saddam Hussein began selling oil in euros → invaded and executed.
- Muammar Gaddafi wanted a gold-backed African currency → murdered.
- Hugo Chávez – wanted an alternative trade systems → Died mysteriously and country destabilized.
- Syria – rejected dollar currency systems → destroyed

This is not about oil. It is about maintaining global trade through the dollar, thereby keeping demand for the dollar, and America strong.

Today, we see, Venezuela’s vast oil reserves and resistance to dollar dominance has placed it in the crosshairs of US economic enforcement. Sanctions, infiltration, political destabilization, open threats and eventually the removal of its president.

With these existing economic conditions, and a growing fear of the dollar being replaced, calls now rise for drastic and immediate action by the U.S. government.
America has become vulnerable.

Former U.S. Secretary of State James Baker once said: “if the U.S. dollar was replaced as the global reserve currency, “it would be catastrophic for America.” Billionaire real-estate man Sam Zell also warned: “Americans should brace for a "disastrous" 25 percent decline in
the standard of living if the U.S. dollar’s reign as the global reserve currency ends.”

Prophecy reveals that when economic power fails, political and religious alliances follow. Nations going back to the time of the Medes and Persians formed alliances, so that where one is weak, the other can be a source of strength. The United States will therefore form an alliance with the only global power capable of mobilizing worldwide support instantly, the Papacy.

“The Roman Catholic Church, with all its ramifications throughout the world, forms one vast organization under the control, and designed to serve the interests, of the papal see. In the year 1204, Pope Innocent III extracted from Peter II… the following extraordinary oath: "I, Peter, king…, profess and promise to be ever faithful and obedient to my lord, Pope Innocent, to his Catholic successors, and the Roman Church, and faithfully to preserve my kingdom in his obedience, defending the Catholic faith...” [G C - Chap. 35]

The pope can influences over one billion people worldwide. Through encyclicals, global support can be activated under the disguise of moral, environmental, economic, and political issues. This makes the Vatican uniquely valuable to a financially endangered superpower.

The Vatican on the other hand gains:
- Religious enforcement power from the US military.
- Legal authority
- State-backed influence (image of the beast)

Thus, economic desperation opens the door to prophetic fulfillment.

CONCLUSION
What began with the love of money ends with the loss of economic freedom.
[James 5:1–3] “Your gold and silver are rusted… and shall be a witness against you.”

Yet God’s people are not left without hope.
“Establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.” [James 5:8]

Earthly systems will fail, money will lose its power, but Christ’s kingdom will stand forever. All these things tells us one important thing, Jesus is coming very soon.
