To Be Anointed
The anointing of God is a gracious work of the Holy Spirit given to those who sincerely seek Him and submit their lives to His will. It is not earned by human effort, position, or talent, but flows from God’s purpose and calling. True anointing begins in relationship—walking with God in obedience, humility, and dependence on His grace rather than self-confidence.
The evidence of God’s anointing is first seen in character before it is seen in public ministry. A life truly anointed by God reflects spiritual fruit such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These qualities are not produced by human discipline alone but are the visible work of the Spirit within a surrendered heart (Galatians 5:22–23).
Anointing is also confirmed through divine empowerment to fulfill God’s assignment. When you step out in faith to serve, preach, pray, or witness—relying on the Holy Spirit rather than personal strength—God provides grace and effectiveness beyond natural ability. This empowerment aligns with your calling and produces lasting spiritual impact rather than temporary excitement.
The anointing is never given for personal glory but for service, obedience, and the glory of God. Staying rooted in prayer, Scripture, and submission to Christ keeps the anointing active and pure. The clearest sign of God’s anointing is love flowing through your life, bringing light, healing, and hope to others. As you continue to seek God’s presence, remain confident that He has called you, equips you, and works through you to accomplish His purpose.
