The fall of Venezuelan political leaders.
WHEN NATIONS ARE SHAKEN.

God’s Sovereignty Above Political Power.

The world watches in shock when nations tremble and leaders fall. Political systems once thought secure are suddenly exposed as fragile. Headlines change overnight, alliances fracture and power shifts hands. To many, these events appear chaotic and alarming. But to the student of Scripture, they carry a deeper message: God remains sovereign and the kingdoms of men are temporary.

The Bible has long warned that no earthly power is permanent. The shaking of nations is not random, it is permitted, measured and overseen by a God who rules above all human authority.

“He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings.”Daniel 2:21

Human governments project strength through military force, intelligence networks, economic influence and political dominance. Yet history repeatedly exposes a sobering truth: the strongest systems can collapse in a moment.

Scripture reminds us that political power is never absolute: “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalm 146:3

The rise and fall of rulers is not merely the result of human strategy. God allows nations to rise for a purpose and just as surely, He allows them to fall when their time is fulfilled.

Ellen G. White writes: “In the annals of human history, the growth of nations, the rise and fall of empires, appear as if dependent on the will and prowess of man; the shaping of events seems, to a great degree, to be determined by his power, ambition, or caprice. But in the Word of God the curtain is drawn aside, and we behold, behind, above, and through all the play and counterplay of human interest and power and passions, the agencies of the All-merciful One, silently, patiently working out the counsels of His own will.” Prophets and Kings, p. 499

What the world calls political maneuvering, heaven recognizes as the fulfillment of divine restraint or permission.

The shaking of nations is not meant to entertain or merely alarm, it is meant to awaken. God uses global instability to loosen humanity’s false sense of security and to prepare hearts for eternal realities.
“I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come.” Haggai 2:7

Jesus Himself warned that escalating turmoil would characterize the final generation: “Nation shall rise against nation… and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” Matthew 24:7

Ellen White connects these upheavals to the closing scenes of earth’s history:
“The world is stirred with the spirit of war. The prophecies of the eleventh of Daniel have almost reached their final fulfillment.” Testimonies for the Church, vol. 9, p. 14

Political instability, international tension, and sudden reversals of power are not anomalies, they are signals. They tell us that human government is nearing its end, and God’s kingdom is soon to be revealed.

In times of crisis, the world looks to governments, armies, and superpowers for rescue. But God’s people are called to a higher trust. “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm.” Jeremiah 17:5

Ellen White warns against placing hope in political structures: “The Lord has shown me that the message must go, and that it must not be hung on political questions. Political issues are constantly changing, but the message of the third angel is everlasting.” Gospel Workers, p. 391

The believer’s mission is not to defend nations or exalt rulers, but to exalt Christ, proclaim truth, and prepare souls for eternity.

While earthly kingdoms tremble, Scripture points us to a kingdom that cannot be moved. “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed.” Daniel 2:44

“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace.” Hebrews 12:28

Ellen White assures us: “Soon all the kingdoms of this world will be shaken and destroyed, and the kingdom of Christ will be established.” The Great Controversy, p. 343

This is where history is headed. Every political collapse, every exposed leader, every failed system is pointing to one conclusion: human rule is ending, Christ’s reign is about to begin.

Gospel Angels Broadcasting, remind our viewers that prophecy is not given to satisfy curiosity, but to prepare character. The shaking of nations is a mercy call from heaven, urging men and women to place their trust where it truly belongs.

Now is not the time to be distracted by political drama.
Now is the time to seek Christ, study prophecy and stand firmly on eternal truth.
"See that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." Matthew 24:6

The nations shake and thrones fall, because Christ’s reign and His kingdom are near.
