The fear of God is not dread. It is weight. Suddenly God matters. Sin matters. Truth matters. But grace does not leave you trembling at a distance. The same grace that awakens reverence also brings peace. If your faith has peace but no reverence — it’s shallow. If it has reverence but no peace — it’s incomplete. Grace holds both. A heart taught by grace fears God rightly — and rests fully.
