Theme: The God Who Begins and Finishes
Series: God the Beginning

Scripture:
“I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord,
Who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
— Revelation 1:8 (NKJV)

Reflection

God introduces Himself with authority in this verse. He does not say He helps beginnings or supports endings — He says He is the Beginning and the Ending. Alpha is the first letter. Omega is the last. Everything in between is held by Him.

This means your life is not hanging in uncertainty. Your story is enclosed in God. He was there before it started, and He will still be there when it is completed.

God also says He is who is, who was, and who is to come. That means God is not stuck in the past or rushing the future. He is fully present now. Whatever you are facing today, the Almighty is present in it.

This is prophetic reassurance. If God began your journey, He will not abandon it halfway. If He spoke a promise at the start, He has the power to bring it to pass at the end.

When God is your beginning, you do not fear the process — because the One who finishes perfectly is already involved.

๐Ÿ›  Practical Application

Today, rest in God’s completeness.

Trust God with the parts you cannot control.

Stop worrying about how things will end.

Stay faithful in the middle, knowing God is in charge.

The Alpha does not fail, and the Omega does not forget.

Prayer

Almighty God, I acknowledge You as Alpha and Omega. You are the Beginning and the Ending of my life. I place my trust in You from start to finish. Where I feel uncertain, remind me that You are in control. Complete every good work You have started in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thought / Challenge for the Day

What are you afraid might not work out?
Place it in the hands of Alpha and Omega.
When God is the Beginning, the Ending is already secure.
