Good morning God
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You with a grateful heart for the gift of this new morning. Thank You for Your mercy that is new every day and for the life You have given me in Christ Jesus. As Your Word says, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above” (Colossians 3:1). Today, Lord, I choose to lift my heart, my thoughts, and my desires toward You. I thank You that through faith in Christ, I am no longer bound to the old life, but I am raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).
Father, help me to keep seeking Your face above all else. Like the psalmist, my heart says, “Seek My face,” and my response is, “Your face, Lord, I will seek” (Psalm 27:8). Set my mind on things above, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2). Remind me that my life is hidden with Christ in You, and that Christ Himself is seated at Your right hand in glory (Hebrews 1:3). Thank You that by Your grace, I am seated with Him in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).
Lord, I desire to live a life that is pleasing to You. Let my words, actions, and attitudes bring honor to Your holy name (Colossians 1:10). Teach me to love You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love people as You have loved me (Matthew 22:37–39). Clothe me with humility, kindness, compassion, patience, and love, which is the bond of perfection (Colossians 3:12–14).
I humbly ask for Your divine grace today. Empower me by the Holy Spirit to live a holy and obedient life, not by my own strength, but by Your power at work within me (Zechariah 4:6; Philippians 2:13). Let the Spirit lead me in truth, guard my heart from sin, and help me walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7).
Father, may Jesus be seen in me today. Let my life reflect the reality that I belong to Him and live for His glory alone. I surrender this day into Your loving hands, trusting You completely.
