Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
It appears that Mother Nature’s menopause has hit a hot flash, so she cooled the outside tremendously. Yesterday was cool, but not cold. Today, maybe because I am not fully awake yet, but today feels a lot colder.
I was able to write two more story thoughts out for the new writing challenge. That is a definite positive, because I believe I have another new one starting this week for another group that does competitions.
Looking at the calendar, it appears that I am doctor-free this week. I think I am confused. I do not know how to act without a doctor in the mix. Haha.
My weekend was challenging, with a number of different occurrences; however, I did not allow those situations to dictate my personal interactions. When I was in a place where my internal dilemmas were taking over, I became silent and focused on the task at hand. In doing that, my internal struggles became my driving force to accomplish quite a lot of work that needed to be done and by Saturday close of business. Sometimes, internal struggle is just what I need to get my job done. All the while listening to instrumental music. Even in the tasks at home, the internal battles were pushing me to focus on the challenge at hand and not to dally around.
The battles we face can create two worlds … one where we roll over and let the enemy berate our self-worth and ability to succeed, OR two, we make the battles our fuel to accomplish more than we could have ever imagined through the grace and strength of the Holy Spirit.
I choose Him.
Today, I encourage you to look outside the situation itself and find what in the situation you can use to help fuel your fire to win … that circumstance is fairly easy … when you use His Light to illuminate your path. With each step, you become a sore to the enemy. With each step, you show that you will not be bullied. With each step, you open up new avenues of exploration with the One who is guiding you. With each step … you become the victor … not the victim.
Take some time today and seek counsel with the Holy Spirit. Sit in his presence and soak in his grace and peace. Ask him to open your eyes to the possibilities that you cannot see and feel the strength that he gives. It changes the playing field tremendously.
Be blessed.
**May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. – 1 Thessalonians 5:23
