Heavenly Father, We thank You for waking our family up to see this Tuesday morning. This day belongs to You, and we surrender it fully into Your hands. Your Word declares, “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light” (Ephesians 5:14). Father, awaken our hearts, our minds, and our spirits. Let the light of Christ shine brightly in our family, exposing every dark place and leading us in the path of righteousness (Psalm 119:105).
Lord, help us to walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise (Ephesians 5:15). Teach our family to order our steps according to Your wisdom and not our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5–6). We ask for discernment in every decision we make today—at home, at work, at school, and in every interaction—so that our lives bring glory to You.
Father, we choose to redeem the time, making the most of every opportunity You place before us, knowing that the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16). Help us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom (Psalm 90:12). Let our time be used for things that have eternal value, and keep us from distractions that pull us away from Your purpose.
Lord, Your Word instructs us to be not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is (Ephesians 5:17). We ask that You would reveal Your will clearly to our family. Guide us by Your Spirit, for “as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14). Give us hearts that are quick to obey and willing to follow wherever You lead.
Father, fill our family with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). We choose not to be influenced by the ways of this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). Let our home be filled with Your presence, Your peace, and Your power. May the joy of the Lord be our strength today (Nehemiah 8:10).
Lord, let praise continually flow from our lips. As Your Word says, may we speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our hearts unto the Lord (Ephesians 5:19). Let thanksgiving be our lifestyle, for “in every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
Father, we thank You always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:20). We declare that goodness and mercy shall follow our family all the days of our lives (Psalm 23:6). Cover us with Your protection, order our steps, and let everything we do today be done in love (1 Corinthians 16:14).
We commit this Tuesday into Your hands, trusting You to lead us, keep us, and use us for Your glory.
We pray this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus.
Amen.
