Theme: A Foundation Laid by God
Series: God the Beginning
Scripture:
“Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Thine hands.”
— Hebrews 1:10 (NKJV)
---
Reflection
This verse reminds us that nothing God builds is weak or accidental. In the beginning, God did not just create the earth — He laid its foundation. Foundations are not seen, but they determine how strong everything above them will be.
God does not rush beginnings. He establishes them properly. He makes sure what He starts can stand the test of time. That is why the earth is still standing today — it rests on a foundation laid by God Himself.
This is prophetic for your life. If God is involved in your beginning, then your life is not built on shaky ground. Even when storms come, what God has founded will not collapse.
If things feel slow right now, it may be because God is laying a foundation you cannot yet see. Strong futures require deep foundations.
---
๐ Practical Application
Today, value God’s process.
Do not despise slow beginnings — God may be establishing depth.
Trust God when things are unseen but being prepared.
Build your life on God’s Word, not on quick results.
What God founds will last.
---
Prayer
Lord, I thank You because You are the God who lays foundations. I surrender my beginnings to You. Where You are building deeply, give me patience. Let my life be established on what You have laid, not on what I rush. Strengthen every foundation You are setting in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
---
Thought / Challenge for the Day
Are you rushing a process God is carefully building?
Slow down and trust Him.
When God is the Beginning, what He establishes cannot be shaken.
