If someone is passionately devoted to any political party or aggressively pushing a government agenda, they are missing the point. Jesus did not call us to build earthly kingdoms, He called us to seek the Kingdom of God. Scripture tells us we are to be in the world, but not of the world.
One day, America and every earthly political system will fall, just as Babylon is destined to fall. Placing our trust in a nation is misplaced faith and wasted effort. Our hope must not rest in “America,” but in Christ alone.
Instead of clinging to temporary powers, we must prepare our hearts to be citizens of the Kingdom of God.
