Dear Father, As I read through the book of Chronicles today, I grew weary. There's a record of the names of people who lived thousands of years ago, beginning with Adam, the first man. This made me wonder: if there's ever a record of this present generation, will my name make it to the list? Not just as one who lived, but as one whose life was known for its immeasurable impact, such that it's worth capturing in history. Impact is rarely discussed the way it should. While we desire for our names to be captured in history for the big things, it's crucial that we don't disregard the little things; A gentle smile, a listening ear, little acts of kindness, the way we treat our subordinates, how we keep track of important dates of our loved ones, and how diligent we are in building what has been placed in our hands in order to create room for others. When we strive to positively impact others daily, we create a ripple effect of compassion and value that makes the world a better place. #LettertoGod
