Good morning God
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You this morning with a humble and grateful heart. I acknowledge Your greatness, Your holiness, and Your mercy that is new every morning. As Your Word says, “Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you” (James 4:10). Today, Lord, I choose to bow my heart before You, recognizing that without You I am nothing, but in You I have life, hope, and purpose.
Father God, teach me true humility—not the humility that comes from fear, but the humility that flows from knowing who You are and who I am in You. Help me to walk gently before You, just as You require, to “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with my God” (Micah 6:8). Remove pride, selfish ambition, and self-reliance from my heart, and replace them with a spirit that depends fully on Your grace.
Lord Jesus, You are my perfect example. Though You were exalted, You humbled Yourself and became obedient, even to the point of the cross (Philippians 2:5–8). Shape my life to reflect Your character. Teach me to serve others in love, for You have said, “Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:4).
Heavenly Father, Your Word promises that “the meek shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5). I hold onto this promise today. I ask You to uplift me in Your perfect time and way, not for my glory, but so that Your name may be glorified through my life. Let Your divine power strengthen me to live as a humble child of God.
Fill me with Your grace, Lord, for You “give grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5–6). Lead my thoughts, my words, and my actions today. May my life be a living prayer of humility, obedience, and trust in You.
I surrender this day into Your loving hands, trusting that as I humble myself before You, You will lift me up according to Your will.
In Jesus’ precious name I pray,
Amen.
