Heavenly Father, We thank You for the gift of this Saturday morning. This is the day that You have made, and we choose to rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). Thank You for rest through the night, breath in our lungs, and new mercies that meet us at the start of this day (Lamentations 3:22–23).
Lord, as we begin this morning, we submit our hearts, minds, and plans to You. Your Word declares, “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts shall be established” (Proverbs 16:3). Order our steps today and lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Let every decision align with Your will and every moment bring You glory.
Father, fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Your Word says, “This is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us” (1 John 5:14). Strengthen us where we are weak, encourage us where we are weary, and renew our joy in You, for the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
We declare Your protection over this day. “The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore” (Psalm 121:8). Guard our hearts and minds with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let no weapon formed against us prosper, and keep us covered under the shadow of the Almighty (Isaiah 54:17; Psalm 91:1).
Lord, help us to redeem the time today. Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom (Psalm 90:12). May we walk wisely, using every opportunity to love, serve, and honor You (Colossians 4:5). Let our words be seasoned with grace and our actions reflect Christ.
We thank You in advance for victories, divine appointments, and moments of rest and refreshing. “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). We trust You completely and give You all the praise, honor, and glory.
