🌿 Daily Devotion 📅 Date: January 18, 2026 📖 Theme: The God Whose Power Began All Things 🔖 Series: God the Beginning 📜 Scripture: “He hath made the earth by his power, He hath established the world by his wisdom, And hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.” — Jeremiah 10:12 (KJV) 💭 Reflection This verse introduces us to God at work — not merely speaking, but exercising power, wisdom, and control. The earth was not formed by chance. It was made by His power. That means creation is the result of deliberate strength, not accident. God did not struggle to create; He commanded, and power responded. Then Scripture says He established the world by His wisdom. Power without wisdom destroys, but God’s power is guided by perfect wisdom. Everything He creates is positioned correctly, timed accurately, and sustained intentionally. Nothing God builds is random. Finally, the heavens were stretched out by His discretion. This tells us God knows limits, order, and precision. He knows how far things should go and where they should stop. He understands balance. This speaks directly to your life. The same God who used power to create, wisdom to establish, and discretion to order the universe is the One involved in your beginning. If your life feels chaotic, it does not mean God is absent — it means He is ready to reintroduce order. When God is your Beginning, He does not just start things; He stabilizes them, aligns them, and sustains them. You are not held together by effort alone. You are sustained by the same power that formed the earth. I declare by the authority of God’s Word that divine power is at work in your life, in the name of Jesus. I declare that wisdom is establishing what power has begun in you, in the name of Jesus. Every area of disorder, confusion, and instability is coming into divine alignment, in the name of Jesus. The God who made the earth by His power is strengthening, stabilizing, and sustaining you from the beginning, in the name of Jesus. 🛠 Practical Application Today, acknowledge God’s power at work in your life. Do not despise small beginnings — power is already present. Ask God for wisdom to establish what He has started. Trust His discretion when He slows you down or redirects you. When God begins it, He knows how to complete it. 🙏 Prayer Mighty God, You made the earth by Your power and established it by Your wisdom. I submit my life to Your hands. Release Your power where I am weak, Your wisdom where I am confused, and Your order where things feel scattered. Let my life reflect Your divine design from the very beginning, in the name of Jesus. 💡 Thought / Challenge for the Day Where do you need God’s power, wisdom, and order to realign things?
