The blessing of Yahwah

Numbers 6:24-27 YHWH bless thee, and keep thee: YHWH make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: YHWH lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

We see that there are 6 things that YHWH wants to do for us…

YHWH:
1. Bless thee – A primitive root; to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason). (Eph 1:3)
2. Keep thee – A primitive root; properly to hedge about (as with thorns), that is, guard; generally to protect, attend to, etc. (Psa 91:11, Deut 31:6, Deut 31:8, Josh 1:5, 1 Chr 28:20 Matt 2:20)
3. Make his face shine upon thee – A primitive root; to be (causatively make) luminous (literally and metaphorically). (Psa 31:16, Psa 67:1, Psa 119:1435, Dan 9:17)
4. Be gracious unto thee - A primitive root; properly to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior; to favor, bestow; causatively to implore (that is, move to favor by petition) (Gen 43:29, Exo 33:19)
5. Lift up his countenance upon thee – (Gen 33:5, Gen 33:11, Gen 33:19, Gen 34:6, Neh 9:31, Psa 86:15, Psa 103:8, Psa 111:4, Psa 145:8, Joel 2:13, 1 Pet 2:3)
6. Give thee peace - A primitive root; to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively to be (causatively make) completed; by implication to be friendly; by extension to reciprocate (in various applications) – John 14:27, Phil 4:7

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
