🌿 Daily Devotion 📅 Date: January 20, 2026 📖 Theme: Living From the Source 🔖 Series: God the Beginning 📜 Scripture: “For in Him we live, and move, and have our being…” — Acts 17:28 (KJV) 💭 Reflection This verse brings us to the deepest truth about existence: God is not only the beginning of life — He is the environment of life. We do not merely receive life from Him once; we continually exist within Him. “In Him we live” means our breath, our days, and our strength are sustained by God. “In Him we move” means our progress, steps, and direction are enabled by God. “In Him we have our being” means our identity, purpose, and continuity are rooted in God. Nothing about your life operates outside of Him. You are not independent of God, and you are not self-sustaining. Every moment you are standing, walking, thinking, and advancing is proof that God is actively involved. This is prophetic comfort for seasons of confusion or weakness. If you are still moving, God is still working. If you are still standing, God is still sustaining you. Your life has not stalled — it is being upheld by divine presence. When God is your Beginning, He does not step away after starting you. He remains the atmosphere in which your life functions. I declare by the authority of God’s Word that your life is preserved in God, in the name of Jesus. I declare that every area where strength has been failing is receiving fresh supply from God, in the name of Jesus. Your steps are ordered, your movement is directed, and your existence is secured in Him, in the name of Jesus. You will not lose direction, identity, or purpose, because your being is rooted in God, in the name of Jesus. 🛠 Practical Application Today, live with conscious dependence on God. Invite God into every decision and movement. Acknowledge Him as the source of your strength. Rest in the truth that you are upheld, not abandoned. You function best when you remain aware of the Source. 🙏 Prayer Father, I thank You because my life exists in You. I live by You, I move by You, and I am sustained by You. Keep me conscious of Your presence in every step I take. Let my life align with Your will and purpose. I depend on You fully as my Beginning and my Sustainer, in the name of Jesus. 💡 Thought / Challenge for the Day Are you striving as though everything depends on you?
