*Quiet Time Prayer*
*Focus of the week: Your will be done* - Surrendering Our Plans to God’s Perfect Will

Gracious and Sovereign God,
You are the Alpha and the Omega, the One who knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). Today I come before You with open hands and a bowed heart, whispering the prayer Your Son taught us: “Your will be done” (Matthew 6:10).
Lord, I confess that I often clutch my plans tightly—my dreams, my schedules, my expectations—which like fragile clay pots I fear will shatter if released.
Yet You remind me that “many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” (Proverbs 19:21).
Teach me to place every plan upon Your altar, trusting that what is surrendered to You is never lost but transformed.
Like Abraham, who set out not knowing where he was going (Hebrews 11:8), help me to walk forward in faith when the map is unclear.
Like a child placing his/her hand into the strong hand of a loving parent, may I entrust my future to You.
I commit my work to You, believing Your promise: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established” (Proverbs 16:3).
Lord, prune what does not bear fruit (John 15:2). Redirect what leads me away from You. Replace my anxious striving with quiet confidence that Your will is good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2).
I lay my plans at the foot of the cross, and I rise saying,
Your will be done, O Lord.
In the name of Jesus, who surrendered his life to Your plan, I pray. Amen.
