Good morning God
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You this morning with humble and grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of a new day and the breath of life. As Your Word teaches us in Proverbs 4:23, “Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life,” we ask You to help us guard our hearts carefully today. Lord, You know how easily the world tries to plant wrong thoughts, sinful desires, fear, pride, and bitterness within us. We cannot protect our hearts by our own strength, so we depend fully on You.
Father God, we ask You to cleanse our hearts daily by the precious blood of Jesus. Your Word says in 1 John 1:7 that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Wash us, purify us, and renew our inner being. Remove every thought that does not come from You, every attitude that grieves Your Holy Spirit, and every hidden motive that leads us away from Your will. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10).
Lord, help us to fix our minds on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy, as written in Philippians 4:8. Guard our eyes, our ears, and our thoughts so that nothing unclean takes root in our hearts. Teach us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
We ask for Your grace to walk in purity and holiness in this broken world. Strengthen us to say no to temptation and yes to righteousness. Let Your Word dwell richly in our hearts (Colossians 3:16), guiding our choices and shaping our character. Holy Spirit, be our divine guide today—lead us, correct us, and empower us to live in obedience.
Father, may our hearts be filled with Your love, peace, and wisdom, so that from our lives may flow goodness, life, and glory to Your name. We surrender our hearts completely to You and trust You to guard them.
