Heavenly Father, We rise this Saturday morning with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of life, breath, and another opportunity to walk in Your purpose. “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). We choose joy today—not because everything is perfect, but because You are present.
Lord, as this weekend begins, we ask You to quiet our minds and settle our spirits. Let the weight of the week fall off of us now. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Rest our bodies, refresh our souls, and renew our strength.
Father, order our steps today. Guide every decision, every conversation, and every moment. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way” (Psalm 37:23). Where we are unsure, give clarity. Where we are weak, release Your strength. Where doors need to open, open them by Your mighty hand.
Lord, we place our families, homes, and loved ones before You. Cover us with Your peace and protection. “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore” (Psalm 121:8). Let no weapon formed against us prosper, and let Your angels encamp around us.
Father, help us to use this day wisely—to worship, to rest, to reflect, and to realign our hearts with You. Teach us to redeem the time. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). May our trust in You deepen today.
We thank You in advance for what You are doing behind the scenes. Even when we cannot see it, we believe You are working all things together for our good. “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles” (Isaiah 40:31).
We begin this Saturday in faith, peace, and expectation—knowing that the same God who brought us through the week will carry us through the weekend and into victory.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
