God doesn't play favorites
Jesus died on the cross for each and every one of us. He didn't just give his life to save the smartest, best-looking cream of the crop sort of person. Jesus loves all of us equally. He doesn't play favorites. When you think about how God cares for even the tiniest sparrow, it becomes very clear just how much more he cares for us. The Bible tells the story of Jesus, the good Shepherd who searched and searched for a little lost lamb. He didn't just value the grown-up sheep that was worth more money. So it is with our Heavenly Father. Some feel inadequate to be a witness for Jesus, but God blesses even the smallest effort. The key is to stay close to Jesus. It is when we wander away that we are in danger. Spend time daily in God's Word and pray about everything. Yes, even the small stuff. Remember, Jesus loves you. He is with you always and wants you to tell the world that he loves them, too. So reach out and share his love with someone today. Text: 1 John 4:10-12, Romans 5:8, Romans 8:38-39, Jeremiah 31:3
