Jan 25 26 Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

What a wild ride we had at the post office yesterday. For whatever the reason, we got basically no mail. No letter mail. No flat mail. Only packages and whatever mail we had from the day before that had been missorted on Friday. An extremely light day. I could have put one person on all five routes, and I still do not think they would have had an 8-hour day. That is how light the mail was. As wonderful as it was to be able to make sure everyone got home before the storm hit, tomorrow is a scary time. The storm has hit. Is continuing to hit and if all the mail we should have gotten yesterday comes tomorrow…it will be a long day. A very long day.

Today is going to be an inside day. I have an idea for a new book. I may start that. Or I may just write another short story for that weekly event I spoke of yesterday. I must finish my coffee to make that determination.

Since we have a dump truck load of snow in our yards and on our streets, adding that the temperature is probable colder than my deep freeze, I would encourage you all to keep yourself safe, stay inside. Unless it is absolutely necessary for you to be out, don’t go. Enjoy the beauty of the white blanket covering the ground from the warmth and comfort of your home. Take this time to find a quiet spot, your bible, and spend time in His presence. Take in the beauty and purpose of the snow … beautifully covering the ground in smooth moisture thus preparing for the spring. I would think with this much snow, the spring for planting should bring forth a good crop. So, cover yourself in His presence and His word so that your spring planting will be moistened to bring a good season.

Be blessed today.
