THE THREE ANGELS’ MESSAGES ARE GOD’S FINAL WARNING OF MERCY.

The Three Angels’ Messages form the backbone of Seventh-day Adventist identity and the final gospel proclamation before Christ returns.

THE FIRST ANGEL — EVERLASTING GOSPEL & JUDGMENT HOUR.

“Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come…” (Rev. 14:6–7)

The everlasting gospel is Christ crucified, risen, and interceding
The judgment hour began in heaven (Daniel 8:14)
True worship is tied to the Creator — “made heaven, and earth, and the sea”

“The first angel’s message announces the judgment and calls upon men to fear God and give glory to Him.” (GC 355)

The judgment message explains why God raised the Advent movement — not to predict dates, but to restore obedient faith.

THE SECOND ANGEL — BABYLON IS FALLEN
“Babylon is fallen, is fallen…” (Rev. 14:8)

Babylon = religious confusion
Human tradition above Scripture
Church–state union and compromise with the world

Spirit of Prophecy:

“Babylon is said to be ‘fallen’ because she has rejected the truths sent from heaven.” (GC 381)

Pioneer Insight:
Adventist pioneers identified Babylon not as one church, but a system of apostasy departing from Bible truth.

THE THIRD ANGEL — THE MOST SOLEMN WARNING EVER GIVEN
“If any man worship the beast and his image… the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God.” (Rev. 14:9–11)

Worship is the final test
God’s law vs. human authority
Seal of God vs. mark of the beast

“Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” (Rev. 14:12)

“The third angel’s message is to be proclaimed with a loud voice… It is to warn the world against worshiping the beast and his image.” (7BC 979)

The third angel explains why obedience matters — not for salvation, but as evidence of loyalty to Christ.

WHY THIS MESSAGE MATTERS NOW
• The world is being prepared for false worship
• God is sealing a people who love truth more than comfort

Not about winning arguments — but winning souls.

Choose Christ.
Stand on His Word.
Prepare for His return.
