When you do have a few cents to give, it is always a problem getting it to the person. I would think the request should contain details of their situation, if too proud to share that then who will take a chance on them. I was approached the other day, by a youngish guy, lost his job, and here in South Africa jobs are reserved for one group, the one we dont belong to. After talking a bit he said" I must put my pride in my pocket and ask you for food" I gave him some money to buy food, he walked me back to my car, and made a beeline to a food store. I did give him advice on what jobs to look for, I pray he will come right.
