Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:10
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
Insight:
Many people mistakenly believe money is the peak of fulfillment. Yet money is limited in what it can truly offer. It cannot guarantee long life, perfect health, inner peace, or sound relationships.
While it answers practical needs, money was never designed to rule the heart. When money is understood as a servant, it finds its proper place. But when it is worshipped, it becomes a snare—drawing the heart away from God and breeding endless dissatisfaction.
Reflection:
Money never truly satisfies. It always asks for more and still leaves the soul empty. Fulfillment is not found in possessions but in a Person.
Christ Jesus alone fills the deepest void in man. He gives peace that wealth cannot buy and hope that extends beyond this life.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to see money as a tool and not a master. Teach my heart to seek fulfillment in You alone. Free me from misplaced desires and help me to rest in Your sufficiency. Amen.
Reality: What money cannot give in a lifetime, Christ gives in a moment—and forever.
