“I was being used by the devil.”
Those chilling words come from Doreen Virtue, once a leading voice in the New Age world. For decades she sold millions of angel cards, taught divination worldwide, and appeared on shows like Oprah as the top angel expert. Then she turned her back on it all to follow Jesus Christ.
Her awakening hit hard when she read Deuteronomy 18:10-12. Those verses expose practices like divination, sorcery, omens, witchcraft, mediums, and consulting the dead as abominations to God. She saw her own life mirrored there, the “angels” she channeled exposed as something far darker.
On her knees in tears, she surrendered to Jesus, rejecting New Age ideas of self-divinity and inner light. She began pulling her name from old products, warning others of occult dangers, and pointing people straight to the Gospel.
Her plea rings clear today.
No universal energy saves anyone.
True peace comes only through Jesus Christ.
