Why do we sing, worship, and praise God?
Jesus said,
God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
Worship is not background music or emotional build-up.
It is a spiritual act rooted in truth and empowered by the Spirit.
And when the battle is spiritual, worship is not a retreat it is how we stand.
Worship shifts our focus from fear to the greatness of God.
It lifts our eyes above circumstances and reminds us who truly reigns.
It invites God’s presence into the darkest places of our lives, where light exposes and dismantles what has taken hold.
Worship moves us from passivity into proclamation.
We declare what Christ has already won instead of rehearsing defeat.
We do not worship to earn victory we worship from victory.
Our worship also affects others.
It strengthens believers under attack and bears witness to those still bound in darkness.
Through worship, the gospel is proclaimed and hope is released.
So gather with God’s people.
Sing the Word.
Declare the name of Jesus.
Give thanks in every season.
Engage your whole self.
And worship daily.
Worship is not optional for the Christian life.
It is allegiance.
It is resistance.
It is a war cry grounded in the finished work of Christ.
