🌿 Daily Devotion 📅 Date: January 30, 2026 📖 Theme: From the Father of Lights 🔖 Series: God the Beginning 📜 Scripture: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” — James 1:17 (KJV) --- 💭 Reflection This verse re-centers our understanding of blessings: everything truly good has one source — God. Good gifts do not rise from chance, luck, or human effort alone; they come down from above, from the Father of lights. God is called the Father of lights because He is the source of all clarity, truth, and goodness. Unlike the shifting lights of this world — seasons, people, systems — God does not change. There is no shadow in Him, no unpredictability, no hidden agenda. What He gives is pure, intentional, and reliable. This is prophetic assurance for your heart. If God is your Beginning, then what He releases into your life will not carry confusion or regret. He does not give blessings that later turn into burdens. Every gift from Him is aligned with His light and His purpose. When you recognize God as your source, gratitude replaces anxiety. You stop chasing shadows and begin receiving from the One who never changes. --- I declare by the authority of God’s Word that every good and perfect gift ordained for your life is locating you now, in the name of Jesus. I declare that confusion, instability, and inconsistency are leaving your life because you are connected to the Father of lights, in the name of Jesus. Every blessing God releases into your life will produce clarity, peace, and progress, in the name of Jesus. Your life will reflect the goodness of God and the light of His purpose, in the name of Jesus. --- 🛠 Practical Application Today, acknowledge your source. Give thanks for every good thing in your life. Stop attributing God’s blessings to luck or coincidence. Align your expectations with God’s unchanging nature.
