DAY 6
“Faithful in the Ordinary”

“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.”
— 1 Corinthians 4:2
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
— Matthew 25:21

Most of life is not dramatic.
It’s the alarm clock.
The same road.
The same people.
The same responsibilities that don’t feel holy enough to matter.
We imagine crowns being formed in moments of sacrifice so big they shake the earth. But Scripture keeps pulling us back to something quieter: faithfulness.
Jesus’ praise—“Well done”—was not given for talent, charisma, or visibility. It was given for stewardship. For showing up. For handling what was placed in your hands with care.
No one applauds faithfulness in private. No one records obedience when no one is watching. But heaven notices.
Crowns are not forged in applause.
They are formed in consistency.
Every unseen prayer.
Every honest decision.
Every time you chose integrity when compromise was easier.
Today is about the holy weight of the ordinary.
Reflection Questions
Where have I been faithful even when it felt unnoticed?
What small assignment has God trusted me with right now?
Am I faithful because I’m seen—or because He is?

Jesus,
Teach me to love faithfulness more than recognition.
Help me honor You in the small things,
the quiet things,
the unseen places.
Let my life be steady, not flashy—
and pleasing to You.
Amen.
