DAY 7
“Enough”
“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28
“There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.”
— Hebrews 4:9
There comes a moment—usually at the end of a long road—when you realize you’ve been carrying more than God ever asked you to.
You carried expectations.
You carried guilt.
You carried the unspoken fear of not being enough.
But heaven was never impressed by what you carried.
It was moved by the fact that you came.
The crown of life does not begin with achievement—it begins with arrival. With laying down what you were never meant to hold and resting in what was already finished.
Some will receive crowns one day.
All will receive rest.
And no one will feel shortchanged in heaven.
Today is not about effort.
It’s about release.
You are home.
And home is enough.
Reflection Questions
What weight am I still carrying that God never asked me to?
Can I sit with grace without trying to add to it?
What does rest with God actually look like for me?
Jesus,
I lay down the need to prove myself.
I release the weight of comparison and performance.
Thank You that Your work is finished
and Your rest is real.
Teach my soul to be still with You.
Amen.
