Are you feeling alone?

We’ve all been there. Loneliness, abandonment, separation. The feeling that if something was to happen to us no one would notice or even care.

1 Kings 8:56 Blessed be Yahwah, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

The scriptures are full of promises that, although family and friends might leave you, YHWH would never leave you. YHWH said He would be there in our good times, in our bad times, in our ups and our downs. He is always faithful to keep His promises. As a matter of fact, there are 18 different scriptures that show that YHWH would never forsake us. These scriptures are listed below. If Yahwah says it that many times, we should want to stand on that promise that He gives that He would never forsake us.

Deuteronomy 4:31 Deuteronomy 31:6 Deuteronomy 31:8
1 Samuel 12:22 1 Kings 6:13 1 Kings 8:57
1 Chronicles 28:2 Ezra 9:9 Nehemiah 9:31
Psalms 9:10 Psalms 22:1 Psalms 37:25
Psalms 94:14 Isaiah 41:17 Isaiah 42:16
Isaiah 62:12 Hebrews 13:5 2 Corinthians 4:7-10

One of the greatest examples of not being forsaken in the scriptures might be the story of David, who was anointed by Samuel to be king over all of Israel. But even before he took the throne, he went through many trials. King Saul tried to take his life more than once, and his brother Absalom tried to take his life also. But YHWH never forsook him. Even after he became king, he had an illicit relationship with Bathsheba and he repented of that relationship and YHWH never forsook him.

So, as we see with any of the above scriptures and in the story of David, we can see that if we have a relationship with YHWH and have a firm foundation in His Word, then He would never leave us nor forsake us.

I want to close out this study with the following scriptures which are in the list above.

1 Corinthians 4:7-10 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of YHWH, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Master YHWH, that the life also of YHWH might be made manifest in our body.

YHWH Bless
