For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” — James 1:6 (KJV) --- 💭 Reflection This verse speaks directly to the attitude of the heart when we come to God. God invites us to ask — but He also tells us how to ask: in faith, without wavering. Wavering means being divided inside. It is praying today and doubting tomorrow. It is asking God for help, then trusting fear more than His promise. God is not offended by questions, but faith cannot function in a divided heart. James uses a clear picture: a wave in the sea. A wave has no direction of its own. It moves based on the wind. This is what happens when faith wavers — emotions, opinions, and circumstances begin to control decisions instead of God’s Word. Faith requires firmness. Not because everything feels easy, but because God is trustworthy. When you ask in faith, you are saying, “God, I trust You even if I don’t understand how You will do it.” This season, God is calling you to stability. Faith is not loud; it is steady. When you ask God for wisdom, provision, direction, or help, settle it in your heart that He has heard you. Ask God with confidence Refuse to entertain doubt after praying Remind yourself of God’s promises when fear arises A settled heart produces settled results. --- 🙏 Prayer Father, help me to ask in faith without wavering.
