Believing Is Not Enough
Most Christians accept the Bible as truth, but ignore it in their daily living. They simply don't realize that it is how we live that's important, not just what we believe. For instance, there are many who believe in God and in the Bible, but even though they believe and know what's right, they choose not to obey. Their daily actions don't reflect the life of a person who knows God's truth and is fully surrendered to Him. It is not enough to believe in God's truth, we must live it every day. Just knowing right from wrong won't save us, we must choose to obey God. When Jesus is the focal point of our every thought and action, God's will becomes our will. The Bible says in Matthew 28:20; “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”. The fact that God is with us always makes it possible to live a godly life and truly live how we believe. Text: James 1:22, James 2:17, Matthew 5:16, Matthew 7:16, Titus 1:16
