WHO IS YOUR MASTER? JESUS THE LORD OF THE SABBATH, OR MAN, AND HIS TRADITION OF OBSERVING SUNDAY?
you cannot OBEY both.

People frequently ask Isn’t one day in seven good enough? Why do you put so much emphasis on the Sabbath?

The issue is more than a matter of days. It is a matter of masters. Through a master stroke of deception, Satan has worked through apostate religion to change God’s law (Daniel 7:25). He has cast the truth to the ground (8:12). He has made a break in God’s wall of truth. God calls us to repair the breach by keeping His Sabbath (Isaiah 58:12, 13). We ought to obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29). To worship on the seventh day, is to accept the authority of your Creator Lord, who commanded the day be kept (Exodus 20:8–11). To knowingly accept a counterfeit day of worship Sunday, is to accept an institution initiated and established solely by man in the apostasy. The real question, then, is, Whose servants are we—God’s or man’s? (Romans 6:16). All the celebrations the day before or the day after my birthday do not make these days my birthday. The world’s birthday is the Bible Sabbath, the seventh day. It is a memorial to our loving Creator. No other day will do.

"Oh I don't need to keep the Sabbath day, I just need to keep the greatest commandment, 'love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength'." ... Well, God gave us a special gift and set aside a specific day for us to rest and keep holy. SO DO YOU REALLY LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD?

Please Note: This isn't about the day we 'worship' God, as we should worship God every single day of the week. This is about one specific day that God has set aside and sanctified for HOLY USE.

The Sabbath day is a controversial subject in the Christian world today. But this is nothing new, as the Sabbath controversy has been raging for thousands of years. The 'Great Controversy' between Christ and Satan has been a long battle, and what has this battle been over? Worship! Satan wants the worship and adoration that only belongs to God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son. And while he is happy that the majority of the world is entertained by sin, he hates seeing Christians worshiping God alone and keeping the law of His universal government.

Just think about this for a moment: The fact that the Son of God had to come and die, due to man's transgression, gives unmistakable proof that the moral law of God cannot be changed. And those who seek to use the sacrifice of Christ as a means to sin and do away with God's holy law, or to change one of it's sacred precepts, will be held accountable by God, more than if Christ had never come!

Psalm 19:7-8 ...'The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.' - If the law of God is PERFECT, why would He ever CHANGE it?

There is only ONE day that God has ever 'sanctified' and 'blessed', and that is the 7th day Sabbath (called Saturday). Do you realize that the 1st day of the week (Sunday) has NEVER been blessed or sanctified by God? That's right! There is not one scripture verse which gives any special significance to the first day of the week, not one! And Jesus is NOT the 'Lord of the 1st day' or 'Lord of any day'. No. Jesus is 'Lord of THE SABBATH.' It is man who has 'replaced' the 7th day Sabbath, not God. So who are you going to follow? God or man?

If a doctor made an 'appointment' with you for Monday, would you go on Tuesday? No! He would not see you then!

You see, God has set an 'appointed time' to meet with us each week. An appointed time wherein He is wanting to bestow a rich blessing upon us. And if we miss this special appointed time, then we miss out on the rich blessing. And what is that appointed time? It is the 7th day Sabbath. The only day of the week that God specifically set aside for holy use (Genesis 2:3; Exodus 20:8-11). And what did Jesus confirm concerning the 7th day Sabbath? It was 'made FOR man' (Mark 2:27). Which means we are to gain a blessing from it. But not from any day of the week. From the sepcific day that God 'blessed', to be a blessing for us - the 7th day of the week (our Saturday today).

The mark of the beast is the counterfeit Sunday by which the beast power is trying to be recognized as an authority greater than the Creator Himself. The sign, or seal, of God’s authority (Sabbath) is displaced by the papal institution of a substitute mark (Sunday) that she claims as her authority. Oh, that the world would see clearly the tremendous issue before us today! To whom will we yield our obedience—to God or to the beast? When we understand the issues we must make a tremendous decision either to keep the true Sabbath and recognize God’s authority, or to take the false Sabbath and recognize the Catholic Church’s claims. We must finally receive the seal of God or the mark of the beast. There are only two sides—GOD and the DRAGON, TRUTH and ERROR, BIBLE and TRADITION.
